Journalist says AC/DC may be recording a new album

AC/DC members were seen in Vancouver

Canadian journalist Steve Newton stated on The Georgia Straight that one of his sources spoke with members of AC/DC in Vancouver, Canada. One of them was allegedly Stevie Young Angus Young 's nephew who took over on guitar in 2014, replacing Malcolm Young . The other member was reportedly Phil Rudd , the band's former drummer who was replaced in 2015 by Chris Slade after being arrested for drug possession.

The journalist's assumption is that, since the band recorded their last three albums at Vancouver's Warehouse Studio, AC/DC may now be planning or recording a new album, with Rudd back on drums.

Rose Tattoo vocalist Angry Anderson said in an interview that AC/DC was composing new material and that the band would continue working with Axl Rose of Guns N' Roses as vocalist. Read more here . Axl joined the band in 2016 after Brian Johnson decided to step away due to hearing loss.
