The band hadn't posted anything on Facebook since the death of guitarist Malcolm Young in November 2017.
To commemorate the 40th anniversary of their classic album Highway To Hell , AC/DC broke their silence on social media and invited fans to celebrate with them.
The band, which hadn't posted anything on Facebook since the death of guitarist Malcolm Young in November 2017, changed the page's cover photo to match the album cover. Meanwhile, their Twitter account now features a video with the beginning of the song "Highway To Hell" playing in the background.
Recently, an American radio station revealed that the Australian band is about to embark on a world tour with singer Brian Johnson, who had been sidelined in 2016 after being diagnosed with a severe case of hearing loss. However, AC/DC has not confirmed the information.
In late 2018, the members of AC/DC were seen at Warehouse Studios in Canada , suggesting that a new album might be in the works soon, featuring riffs recorded by Young before his death.
