Cliff Williams must stop after this tour
AC/DC bassist Cliff Williams has said he plans to retire after the current tour.
“Playing in AC/DC is what I know and have known for the last 40 years, but after this tour, I’m going to stop touring and recording. Losing Malcolm, the thing with Phil and now with Brian, has transformed the band into a different animal than it was. I feel in my soul that it’s the right thing to do ,” the bassist said in an interview with Gulfshore Life.
Cliff also said that he is very proud of everything AC/DC has achieved: “When you start your career, you kind of expect to be successful. That’s what you work for. But you never really know if you’ll make it. What we’ve achieved has been surreal, truly .
