AC/DC , Power Up aired Fantástico program , which included an exclusive interview with Angus Young and Brian Johnson .
In the special, the duo talks about the release, the band's eighteenth album, and Malcolm Young on the project and the band's history. "Before the 2008 album Black Ice , the band had been inactive for quite some time, and Malcolm and I took advantage of that time to compose a lot. For this album, I chose the ones I knew were his favorites," says Angus.
The returns of Phil Rudd, Cliff Williams , and of course, Brian, were also discussed in the interview, and the vocalist even shared one of the factors behind his departure from the band: his serious hearing problem caused by his career, now resolved to the delight of rock n' roll. “What I can tell you is that it's like a prosthetic eardrum. I've already tested it with the whole band, as if it were a show, and it worked! I felt young again! Almighty God, where have you been… It was fantastic!”
