Founded in 2011, Wikimetal was created by a group of friends passionate about music to fill a gap in the Brazilian market. Attuned to the latest trends in the rock world, the group realized that, despite the large number of shows and products available to this loyal audience, there was still an under-explored market. They then decided to create a portal specializing in rock and heavy metal that offered exclusive content.
In just a few years, Wikimetal has become the largest original content portal in the segment , updated daily with news, quizzes, polls, articles, interviews, and concert coverage. The portal now reaches 700,000 views per month and aims to inform the public about the music world, as well as present a perspective on how music fits into society.
