A global black metal icon returns to São Paulo and Brasília for an impressive show

Following a historic and long tour of Latin America alongside Amon Amarth in 2017, the Norwegian band Abbath recently announced all the dates for their upcoming tour of the continent.

The group took advantage of the release date of their new album Outsider to confirm the first shows of their long world tour, which already includes stops in several countries such as the USA, Mexico, El Salvador, Guatemala, Costa Rica, Colombia, Ecuador, Chile, Argentina and Brazil, as well as Germany, the Netherlands, England, France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Poland, Denmark and Sweden.

In Brazil, Abbath (vocals/guitar), Ole Andre Farstad (guitar), Ukri Suviletho (drums), and Mia Wallace (bass) will perform on November 16th and 17th in Brasília and São Paulo, respectively. In Brasília, the show will be at ARUC; in São Paulo, the performance will take place at Audio Clube.

Tickets for the São Paulo show are already on sale at Galeria do Rock (Paranoid store), through the Clube do Ingresso and authorized points of sale. To purchase tickets for the Brasília show, simply visit the Ticket Brasil .

When Abbath announced his departure from Immortal , a great commotion swept through the metal scene, more specifically the black metal scene. The image of the iconic vocalist had become synonymous with the Norwegian black metal scene, and upon releasing his debut album with his new self-titled band in 2016, fans were satiated with a dose of icy fury and dark atmospheres.

Now, the Norwegian giant returns for an incredible second round, armed with a refined lineup and ready to attack with Outstrider , which is sure to exceed the expectations of Abbath's loyal fanbase.

The album, recorded at Dub Studios in Kristiansand, Norway, with producer Endre Kirkesola (Blood Red Throne, Green Carnation, Sirenia and In Vain , among others), was released on July 5th by Season Of Mist.

Outstrider showcases a more mature sound, a more complete and balanced perspective from the band as they acquire their own identity. This work consists of eight original, crushing songs, a true catharsis squeezed from the bowels of darkness, invoking the phoenix from the abyss.
