A police officer from the city of Compton, California, became famous for a video in which he plays guitar with a garage band.
The incident began when police officer Miguel Garcia heard the noise near an investigation he was conducting and went to investigate. Instead of complaining about the volume, Garcia ended up playing along with the band.
In an interview with CBS, Garcia said: "I don't know exactly how it happened, but I got there and they gave me a guitar and said, 'Let's see what you can play.'"
The report also says that Garcia saw the point in encouraging the band, as it's better for them to have a band than to be on the streets. He adds: "I didn't become a police officer to go around arresting people. I became a police officer because I have a lot of love for people."
