Joining in the fun, A Perfect Circle made a list of "10 Reasons Why We Want Josh Freese on Tour Forever".
Freese – who was part of the band from 1999 to 2021 and returned in 2024 – recently reported his dismissal from the Foo Fighters and humorously released a list of "10 Possible Reasons Why Josh Freese Was Kicked Out of the Foo Fighters ," since, according to the drummer, the band did not provide further explanations about the decision.
One of the fictional and sarcastic reasons mentioned: “I refused to play unless I received a Ouija board and a nunchaku after each show.” On Wednesday night, the 21st, Freese posted on his social media that the members of A Perfect Circle had left both items in his dressing room after a show, along with a list of reasons why they like having the drummer around.
Among other reasons, the band mentions that Freese's presence makes them enjoy touring more, praises his drumming style, and states that all members have learned something from him.
To date, the Foo Fighters have not yet commented on Josh Freese's dismissal, nor have they announced his replacement.
