A journalist claims that Metallica will postpone their shows in Brazil again

Behind-the-scenes conversations reveal that the tour may be postponed until the end of 2021

Metallica is expected to reschedule their South American shows in 2020 once again.

The band was originally scheduled to perform in April of this year, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, the tour had to be postponed to December. Now, in a YouTube video, the journalist says that Metallica may need to postpone the shows again because it is still recommended to avoid crowds.

To date, Live Nation, the production company responsible for the tour, has not announced any postponement, and the group's official website still lists the December dates. According to the journalist, the company stated that the performances will go ahead, but backstage conversations indicate that the tour may be postponed for 15 months or from "around October 2021, possibly later".

While we await more information about the tour, all that remains is to prepare for the release of S&M2 , an album featuring live performances by the band with the San Francisco Symphony Orchestra. Click here to learn more about this new release.
