A fan in the audience at The Exploited concert in St. Petersburg, Russia, this week was killed while trying to stop a group of skinheads from making the Nazi salute in the crowd.
The 27-year-old man, identified only as Igor, got into a heated argument with a group of fans who were shouting “Sieg Heil”. After the argument, Igor was stabbed in the abdomen and died before reaching the hospital. Those responsible for the crime have not yet been located.
The band posted a statement on Facebook sending condolences to the victim's family and condemning the act, saying that "Nazi punks and skinheads are not welcome at our shows, ever."
