At nine years old, little Ellen Alaverdyan is already an internet sensation. A child prodigy and multi-instrumentalist, Ellen has around 40,000 followers on her Facebook , where she posts bass covers of artists like Deep Purple , The Beatles , and Jimi Hendrix .

The young girl's skill with the bass is surprising not only for her young age, but also for the short time she's had to practice – Ellen only started training the instrument in April 2020, using the Yousician . “I’ve listened to music my whole life,” says the young bassist. “At first I didn’t understand anything, but I liked it. I learned the ukulele, then to sing, then to play drums, and then the piano, guitar, and finally, the bass.”
