With January (finally) coming to an end, rock and metal fans can prepare for a busier month on the February release calendar

The new month will bring some of the most anticipated albums of the year, from the fourth project from the partnership between Slash feat. Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators , simply called 4 , to the solo debut of George Fisher , vocalist of Cannibal Corpse , and the new album from the Brazilian band Nervochaos .

Below is a list compiled by Wikimetal of eight rock and metal albums that you can't miss this month.

George Fisher 

On the first Friday of the month, the 4th, George Fisher releases Corpsegrinder , his first solo album. Produced jointly by Nick Bellmore and Jamey Jasta , the album promises a mix of "death metal, thrash, and hardcore" and has already had the singles "Acid Vat" and "On Wings Of Carnage" released.

Korn 

Also on February 4th, Korn will release Requiem , their fourteenth studio album, which has already had the singles "Start The Healing" and "Forgotten" released. The band has also prepared a mysterious promotional campaign for the project, the first to be released since Fieldy 's departure .

Saxon

Saxon is also among the must-have albums this first Friday with the release of Carpe Diem , marking the group's 23rd studio album, produced by Andy Sneap and featuring vocalist Biff Byford . The tracks "Carpe Diem (Seize The Day)" and "Remember The Fallen" have already been released.

Eddie Vedder 

The following week will be no less busy: Eddie Vedder is among the top releases on February 11th with his first solo album, Earthling, in over a decade! A preview of this work can be found in the singles “Long Way” , “The Haves” , and “Bother The Cloud” .

Nervochaos 

In darker realms, death metal is also among the highlights of February 11th with the release of the album All Colors Of Darkness by Nervochaos , which has already had four singles released: “Wage War On The Gods” , “Golden Goblet Of Fornication” , “Beyond the Astral” and “Dragged To Hell” .

Slash feat. Myles Kennedy & the Conspirators 

While Guns N' Roses hasn't released any concrete plans for a new album , Slash maintains his relentless productivity in partnership with Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators . Recorded entirely live, the album has already spawned the singles "The River Is Rising , "Fill My World," and "Call Off The Dogs .

Scorpions 

With the mission of recapturing the old DNA of Scorpions , the album Rock Believer arrives on February 25th. The album is the band's first with Mikkey Dee on drums and has already had two music videos released for "Peacemaker" and the project's title track , as well as a mini-documentary of the recording sessions.

Tears For Fears 

After 17 years without a new album of original material, Tears For Fears is back with The Tipping Point , which will also be released on February 25th following the release of the singles “No Small Thing”, “The Tipping Point” and “Break The Man” .
