The Best of Blues and Rock festival will have a commemorative edition in 2023, celebrating the event's 10th anniversary. Among the names announced for the celebration are guitarists Tom Morello , Buddy Guy , and Steve Vai , and the bands Extreme and Goo Goo Dolls.
The event will take place on June 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, 2023, at Ibirapuera Park in São Paulo. This edition will have new ticket options – check the Eventim website for details.

Buddy Guy's last tour
The legendary guitarist is saying goodbye to the stage at 86 years old, and the Damn Right Farewell Tour will come to Brazil with two performances at the festival (on June 3rd and 4th).
Since February 24th, Buddy Guy has been saying goodbye to his fans in the United States. The guitarist's last and 34th album, Blues Don't Lie, was released last October, and Buddy Guy hadn't planned for it to be his last, but reality prevailed.
Extreme's first time in Brazil since 2015
Extreme is also part of this year's festival lineup, this time with their first performance in Brazil since celebrating the 25th anniversary of the album Pornograffitti in 2015. This will be a good opportunity to see them again.
An opportunity to see Tom Morello again
Tom Morello is one of the headliners at the event, returning for another edition. The guitarist came to the Samsung Best of Blues in 2018 and is back for this special celebration.
Since then, the musician has released the albums Comandante (2020), The Atlas Underground Fire (2021), and The Atlas Underground Flood (2021). This one is unmissable!
Steve Vai is coming to promote his album 'Inviolate', released in 2022
The legendary guitarist is coming to Brazil as part of the promotion for his latest album, Inviolate, from January 2022. This will be his only performance in São Paulo, so don't miss it!
Goo Goo Dolls are coming to the country for the second time
The Goo Goo Dolls came to Brazil recently, but a lot has happened since then. The duo performed here in 2019, and since then their tour has undergone some changes to adapt to changing times.
