The band will be back in Brazil in full force and will want to put on an even better show for us.”

Listing reasons to attend a particular show is always complicated. Right here on the Wikimetal website, we can see how many comments appear after the Power Trio presents their lists of favorite musicians, songs, albums, and bands.

We're sure every fan has countless reasons to see the Shadowside show. But you, who are still wondering "should I go? Will it be worth it?" , also have good reasons. Here are a few of them:

1 – Show: Before talking about the band, let's give credit to Via Marquês. Besides the excellent physical space, the venue deserves praise for the quality of the sound, lighting, and multimedia presented in recent shows. If you intend to see a band playing live with good sound equalization, allowing you to understand every word sung, and enjoy the "moving lights" and videos on the screens, going to this show is a good (and inexpensive) option for a Sunday night.

Shadowside's return show to Brazil is being carefully prepared to ensure a quality worthy of the band and the headbanger audience. A good band is useless without proper production. With the attention and care being given to the show, quality is guaranteed.

Dani Nolden is certainly the greatest female frontwoman of a Brazilian band today

2 – Competence: There's no denying that Shadowside plays well. The solid rhythm section provided by the two Fábios (Fabio Buitvidas, drums, and Fabio Carito, bass) powerfully fills the space for the equally talented guitarist, Rafael Mattos, to make his instrument scream throughout the songs. The group is concerned with the sound quality that the audience deserves to hear, and with top-quality equipment and a competent team, they deliver a show as good as that of foreign bands.

3 – Dani Nolden: She can be classified as a classic heavy metal vocalist, and she leaves many grown men in the dust when it comes to singing. She's technically proficient in the more melodic moments and can also unleash her voice when needed. Possessing a deep timbre and excellent vocal range, she is certainly the greatest "front woman" of a Brazilian band today. On the band's acclaimed latest album, Inner Monster Out, Dani Nolden is spot-on. Lyrical female vocals are beautiful, but they ceased to be a novelty a long time ago. A great strength of Shadowside is precisely that they don't follow that formula.

4 – Current: It can be said that Shadowside's sound tries to please everyone. Despite following a more classic line, the band has shown in its 3 albums a clear influence from various subgenres of Heavy Metal, which brings a very current aspect to the band. In the first album, Theatre of Shadows from 2006, the sound leans more towards Power Metal. In the second, Dare To Dream from 2009, the sound is more raw and direct. Finally, in the third, Inner Monster Out from 2011, the timbre is very reminiscent of the sound of new Swedish bands, but with a more balanced vocal. In short, they make a sound that doesn't give reason for grumpy comments from older fans and brings elements that also please younger ones.

They started from the bottom, achieved many things little by little, worked on 3 excellent albums (each one better than the other, it must be said) and are finally reaping the rewards of so much hard work. This will be the show for their third album in a rising career, so you can count on the energy and excitement of a group that opened many doors and is enjoying a moment of well-deserved success (and who wouldn't want to say they witnessed important moments in the history of a band that wrote its mark on Brazilian Metal?). Which leads us to the 5th item;

5 – Energy: They will be returning to Brazil after a tour with giants Gammaray and Helloween, bands that have had and continue to have had the hand of the "Father" of melodic metal, Kai Hansen. These guys are not messing around!

After thrilling European audiences with sold-out shows and having the privilege of spending two months with two legendary bands, returning to Brazil and seeing family and friends again, eating rice and beans, etc., will certainly make the band burst with energy on stage. The band will return to Brazil full of energy and will want to put on an even better show for us. The band hasn't played in São Paulo for 6 years and this will be the last show of the tour in the capital. We dare say that this will certainly be one of the most exciting shows they will ever perform in their career. The joy and chemistry of the group will be evident, guaranteeing an exceptional show;

6. Brazilian Heavy Metal: This is the Brazilian band that currently has the greatest worldwide recognition for its musical quality and the talent of its musicians. Previously, when people talked about "Brazilian metal" abroad, they thought of Sepultura and Angra. Now they also know the name Shadowside.

If it's already difficult for a Brazilian band to get the recognition it deserves here at home, it's even harder abroad. Especially coming from a country where most foreign headbangers only know one or two names. But those with talent and dedication can achieve their goals, and Shadowside has already played many shows overseas, always making a good impression on the audience and taking the Brazilian name abroad.

It's worth considering that they deserve to be where they are, and it would be great if you could celebrate and applaud along with them yet another victory, not only for the band but for the national music scene.
