5. Lamb of God, Killadelphia (2005)
The album Killadelphia is a recording of two performances by the band Lamb of God in October 2004 at the Philadelphia Trocadero venue. The material includes extra hours of backstage footage.
Lamb of God is part of the new wave of American heavy metal and is considered one of the bands that started the so-called pure American metal. The band consists of vocalist Randy Blythe , guitarists Mark Morton and William Adler , bassist John Campbell , and drummer Chris Adler.
Despite the band's name (Lamb of God, in a free translation) suggesting a religious connotation, Lamb of God's lyrics are quite ironic and questioning of religion, according to the band members themselves.
