Judas Priest, Alice in Chains, and Black Star Riders will be part of the lineup for this edition.

Next week, Brazil will celebrate the best of heavy metal, grunge, and hard rock. Between November 8th and 14th, three Brazilian cities will host Judas Priest, Alice in Chains , and Black Star Riders .

The lineup is part of the Solid Rock 2018 festival, an event that last year featured Deep Purple, Cheap Trick , and Tesla . For one night, fans will be able to see all three bands live on a single stage.

The groups will be performing in Curitiba (November 8th at Pedreira Paulo Leminski), São Paulo (November 10th at Allianz Parque), and Belo Horizonte (November 14th at KM de Vantagem Hall), and here are four reasons why you can't miss the festival!

The rookies of Black Star Riders

For those unfamiliar with the hard rock band, this will be a great opportunity to hear a new sound. The band's latest studio album, Heavy Fire , was produced by the always excellent Nick Raskulinecz .

The bands have a new album out (and a great one, by the way).

Rainier Fog and Firepower , albums by Alice in Chains and Judas Priest respectively, were released this year and were very well received by fans and international critics.

You will be able to see Andy Sneap in action.

Despite the sad news that guitarist Glenn Tipton will not be participating in the Judas Priest tour due to Parkinson's disease, fans will be able to see live the talent of Andy Sneap , the band's longtime producer who is filling in for Tipton.

Listen to the timeless anthems of Alice in Chains live.

Even though many songs were immortalized by Layne Staley , William Duvall honors the former vocalist's legacy while also presenting new tracks from his era alongside Jerry Cantrell .
