In preparation for the shows, Wikimetal listed 4 reasons why you should go to a Turnstile concert. Check them out:
Highlight in rock and hardcore
The band is now considered one of the biggest successes in current rock and hardcore. This is due to its heavy, layered, and innovative sound, which doesn't follow the trends of other artists. The group currently exudes originality and has been winning over fans worldwide.
Performance at Lollapalooza 2022
Turnstile had the difficult task of being one of the first bands to perform at Lollapalooza 2022. Despite the audience being divided between fervent and lukewarm fans, some still arriving and others seated near the stage, the hardcore band delivered a powerful and explosive performance.
Capable of creating punk mosh pits and getting people dancing – all to the same song – the challenging time slot on the festival's only weekday certainly impacted the number of people present in front of the Budweiser . Even so, the crowd only grew as the band continued with an incendiary set, loaded with dirty guitars and prominent bass, guided by Brendan Yates's precise high notes.
Lineup change
Fans attending the Turnstile show will have the opportunity to see the band in its new lineup. Joining the original lineup – Yates, Daniel Fang, Franz Lyons and Pat McCrory – the band now features guitarist Meg Mills on tour.
Another opportunity to hear the album Glow On on tour.
The band released their fourth studio album, Glow On , in 2021, becoming a leading act in the current scene.
Turnstile is one of the few hardcore bands that invites you to dance, making the show even more fun and energetic.
