In recent years, Wikimetal has dedicated a significant portion of its space to promoting new rock and metal bands and releases.

Whether through our "New Releases" playlist featuring the week's new music , updated every Friday, or through the "Discoveries" playlist , a compilation of up-and-coming bands that we constantly update.

Or even through the numerous articles we publish to suggest new sounds of all kinds of styles.

Just yesterday, July 1st, we had posts dedicated to The HU from Mongolia, and to the Brazilian groups Unholy Harakiri and Corram Para As Colinas from Curitiba.

Still, some people insist that rock is dead. For them, last year I put together a personal playlist with over 400 new songs released in 2021 .

And 2022 is incredibly even better:
