Zion'z
After a 12-year hiatus, Zion'z is preparing for the release of their new album Metanoia with "Leão de Judá" (Lion of Judah), a song about a proposal for the spiritual unification of all beliefs and peoples.
The band from Curitiba, who started out as a POD cover band, focuses on a sound with catchy riffs, memorable melodies, and aggressive vocals, blending rock, rap, and reggae.
Earthrise
The French band Earthrise takes you on a journey through 1980s hard rock with an extra dose of heaviness in "The Storm," part of their debut album Ray Of Light , released in November 2021.
With a catchy chorus and a balance between nostalgia and more current rock elements, the song showcases the band's potential, as they work entirely independently and are responsible for their own production.
Barista
Singer Bahadır Han Eryılmaz, known by his stage name Barista, released the anthology Open Sesame in 2021. The project includes a formidable list of guest musicians, among whom is the legendary – albeit little-known – drummer Simon Phillips , who has played for bands such as Toto, Judas Priest , and Led Zeppelin .
The song "Sweet" reached number one on iTunes in several countries with a tranquil, classic, and somewhat nostalgic sound driven by the vocalist's raspy vocals.
