Keeping up with new rock and metal bands and artists isn't always easy, especially with bands that haven't yet been discovered by the general public. As part of Wikimetal to strengthen our community and showcase new talent, we've compiled this list of the best discoveries we've made recently on Groover, a music curation platform.

Distress of Ruin

Finnish metal is exceptional, and every headbanger knows it, so it's no surprise that our list includes a band from there, right?

Distress of Ruin is preparing their debut album, and the single "Searching the Architect" showcases the band's strength. In it, the melodic death metal quartet reveals the inspirations that govern the project: the mysteries of nature, the experience of time, and the feelings of love.

Deville

Hailing straight from Sweden, Deville blends rock, metal, and stoner rock in a raw and powerful way. Formed in 2004, the band has released five studio albums and continues to surprise with the maturity of their work, as is the case with "Speaking In Tongues," their most recent single.

Deville is for those who like rock, metal, and even punk, and see no reason why these genres shouldn't coexist in a single work.

Wolves of Verdi

For fans of metal with melodic vocals, Wolves of Verdi is the perfect discovery.

Powerful and sentimental, the group expresses itself through a blend of hard rock, classic metal, and progressive rock. The result is intense and can be heard on "The Seven Seals".
