Avenged Sevenfold returns to Brazil in 2025 for two shows. The band will perform on October 2nd in Curitiba, at Pedreira Paulo Leminski , and on October 4th in São Paulo, at Allianz Parque – tickets on sale.
The group has already performed in Brazil five times and is known for returning several times consecutively. On their sixth visit, the group brings the Life Is But a Dream Tour and promises to leave a lasting impression on Brazilian fans with their first stadium tour in the country.
While we eagerly await October, we've put together a list of 3 memorable moments from Avenged Sevenfold in Brazil.
Performance with Mike Portnoy in 2010
In December 2009, A7X's then-drummer, James "The Rev" Sullivan , passed away due to an overdose. At the time, the band called on Mike Portnoy to participate in the recording process of the album Nightmare (2010) and the tour promoting the album, which included a stop in Brazil in 2010 at the SWU Festival. This was Avenged Sevenfold's first performance on Brazilian soil and remains forever etched in the memory of fans.
Show at Credicard Hall in 2011
After making a great first impression, A7X returned to Brazil just six months after the SWU Festival – this time with their first solo show. The performance took place at the former Credicard Hall (now Vibra São Paulo) and brought together 7,000 ecstatic fans. According to G1 , the "energetic" performance provoked a "catharsis" in the fans, and more than 40 people became ill during the show.
Returning to Rock in Rio 2024 after 10 years
In 2024, Avenged Sevenfold returned to Brazil after a decade away from the country. The band was the main headliner of Rock Day at Rock in Rio , closing the day which featured performances by Evanescence , Deep Purple, Incubus and many more! The excitement was so great that there was even a marriage proposal in the audience.
