If anyone doubts that the future of rock and metal is in the hands of girls , Alana Pereira is yet another reason to be convinced. At only 14 years old, the teenager impressed the band Crypta by playing “Dark Night of the Soul” on guitar.
The video reached all the members of the death metal band and was shared by the artists, including on the band's official page, with praise for Alana's technique. "Seeing these girls playing our songs means much more to me than you can imagine," wrote Fernanda Lira when sharing the recording.
"Just wanted to thank everyone who liked, shared, and commented on Crypta's video. I'm so happy because all the members saw it," Alana celebrated on her Stories.
The young woman is the vocalist and guitarist in the band PHALME , formed alongside Melissa Menegotto and Pedro Henrique Coelho, both 13 years old, and is part of the mentorship program of Kiko Loureiro, guitarist of Megadeth, for musicians and is the founder of the page As Meninas no Rock (The Girls in Rock ), created to bring together girls up to 14 years old who play instruments and like rock music.
