Change is inevitable, right? We grow and change our tastes, our habits, and even our ideals. With that in mind, Loudwire has compiled a list of 12 pop bands and artists who, when they started their careers, had a rock and roll side.
Maroon 5 , for example, is a great example of this. Originally, when they formed the band, Adam Levin and company went by the name Kara's Flowers and even released an album produced by Rob Cavallo, known for his work with Linkin Park and Green Day .
Don't believe it? Well, what about the Goo Goo Dolls ? Known for their hit "Iris," the American band released their first studio album in 1987, and it's nothing like the ballad that made them famous.
