Check out Anathema's most progressive songs.

Metal Hammer compiled a list of Anathema's most progressive songs.

The English band, which began its career in the early 90s, has released 11 studio albums. The latest was released in 2017 and is called The Optimist.

In an interview with Metal Hammer, vocalist Vincent Cavanagh said regarding the album The Optimist : “If I’m happy with an album, I’m bulletproof. We try to make albums that are a reflection of who we are, where we are, and what we can do. If we manage to get that right, I’m happy. And I know we did.”

Anathema changed their sound from a Doom/Death metal band to something much lighter. Click here to discover 26 bands that have nothing to do with their debut album.
