The 10 most disappointing albums of all time, according to Rolling Stone.

The magazine used as criteria albums that had fans' expectations disappointed.

Recently, Rolling Stone published a list of the 50 albums in history.

The main criterion used was albums that had high expectations before their release but failed to move fans. It's also worth mentioning that these aren't necessarily the worst albums from the artists on the list.

Rock and metal albums present in the Top 50

Major bands from the genre were featured on the list. Radiohead 's The King of Limbs occupied the 49th position, while Aerosmith 's Draw the Line and U2 's Songs of Innocence took the 44th and 42nd places respectively.

Black Sabbath also appeared on the list with Technical Ecstasy , which came in at number 34. Pink Floyd 's The Final Cut was ranked 29th.

Van Halen and AC/DC were also present, with Balance and Flick Of The Switch , which occupied the 27th and 12th places on the list, respectively.
