Yes plays in Brazil this week
In an interview with Wikimetal, Yes bassist Chris Squire said that the band was responsible for inventing Progressive Rock.
Looking back at the band's beginnings, Squire spoke about the musical background of the Yes members. He added, "I think, in a way, we invented Progressive Rock.".
In the interview, Squire talks about his main influences and recounts the history of the group. The bassist co-founded the band with Jon Anderson, and is the only member of Yes who participated in the recording of all their albums.
Yes will be in São Paulo on May 23rd and 24th, in Rio de Janeiro on the 25th, and will play in Porto Alegre on the 26th. Listen to the full interview with Chris Squire here:
