"I was convinced I was dying," reveals Ozzy Osbourne in an interview

"I was in a bad state with pain, I'm still in a lot of pain," says the artist

For fans concerned about Ozzy Osbourne , the icon recently shared some updates on his health and the challenges he has been facing.

In an interview with SiriusXM alongside Sharon and Jack , to promote the trio's new series, The Osbournes Want To Believe , which premieres next Sunday, the 2nd, the Prince of Darkness revealed details about his state of health, stating, "I'm not 100%, I'm around 75%, it's a slow recovery. Having spinal surgery, that's bad news, man. I've been in a bad state with pain, I'm still in a lot of pain."

“I was convinced I was dying. I was in so much discomfort and pain and misery that I thought they were all hiding it from me. I remember saying to Sharon, 'You have to be honest with me. Is it worse than you're saying?' She says 'No,' I've stopped all pain medication now,” Ozzy states.

Despite the difficulties, the artist says he is excited about the future, "I can't wait to be on stage again, but I was talking to Tony Iommi the other day and he was saying, 'But with the way the situation with the coronavirus is going, outdoor shows will be a thing of the past.'"
