Even though it's almost Valentine's Day, Gary Holt doesn't care about breaking the hearts of some fans hoping for a possible Slayer .
In an interview for the Let There Be Talk , when asked about the possibility, Holt said, “People say, ‘Oh, maybe they’ll come back in a few years.’ I don’t know. If it happens, if it ever really happens, it has nothing to do with me. Someone would call and say, ‘We want to [do such and such].’ As far as I know, it’s over. And I think it should be that way.”
“Everyone’s happy doing their own thing. I’m fucking happy. Not that Slayer made me unhappy – I was treated like family – but I’m back with my first family,” Holt is referring to Exodus . “I’m back not with my foster brothers – I’m back with my real brothers. And that’s where my heart is, and I missed it, and I was missing it more and more all the time.”
